I have a few nice surprises for you all on the start of this last weekend of summer, but I'll get to those in a bit. (:
So I got my official schedule today. It's exactly the same as what I got before, not that I expected it to change much. And I have D Lunch - which is exactly what I had last year. It makes me happy. I've never had any lunch but C & D. (: Yay for consistency. Boo for not being able to choose between Media III and a study hall. As of right now I still have Media III first period, but I could very well change it before Tuesday. I don't know, I mean I don't really want to take it, and I certainly don't need the credit. But a study hall? Really? I'm not sure I want that. I think I'd much rather have an actual class, as crazy as that sounds. But I really don't want to take Media because I just know I'll get stuck working with a bunch of twits who don't really care about what they're doing. And according to my dad [who spoke with the teacher] the majority of the projects will be short films. I have an awful track record of short films. 9th grade, my friend and I got stuck with a couple of guys who didn't like to do any work so we ended up writing it, filming it [they were basically actors..], editing it, and everything. It sucked. 10th grade was even worse. I got stuck with a freshman and honestly the stupidest girl I've ever met. And the "stupidest girl I've ever met" eventually stopped doing any of the work and refused to show up so we could film so we had to completely re-write the script. Agh. Anyway, there just seems to be a lot of drama and crap surrounding the entire class and I just don't think it's a good idea for me to get caught up in it again, especially considering this is my senior year and I'm going to be busy enough what with retaking the SAT, senior pictures, applying to colleges and universities, the One Acts, the Spring Musical, dance, two AP classes, and wow I feel like I'm complaining. Anyway, but I don't know yet. Although this blog is definitely helping because seeing all of that written down is far more convincing than anything I've tried to tell myself outloud. :]
Anyway, other than that I think I need to get back to school. Haha. I've been so bored all summer and I'm so tired of doing laundry and playing Freecell to entertain myself. So, yeah. Back to school, back to school. If only I could be catching the Hogwarts Express instead of my dad's car. ):
On that note, I bring loads updates. I tried to make icons but, alas, "Icon Season" is coming to an end [here's hoping "Vidding Season" is next] and so there are only five or so. But I did finally upload and code my first premade layout which you should definitely check out! If you use it be sure to let me know via the cbox! (:

[Shock] What? An update? A day after an update has just been posted - nay, an update involving a brand new layout? The world must be coming to an end. Wow. That was dramatic [If anyone thought of Harry at that, you are my hero.]
So anywho, today I said "I am going to make Dylan and Cole icons." Why? Well, I don't have any idea. Hahaha. I was in the mood? Haha. No, seriously I've been planning on whipping out a batch with the pictures from their special issue of People for a while now. I was just, like I said, in the mood for it today. Anyway. So I turned on some Demi Lovato ["Party" - from her first album] and here you are. That's about all there is to this update, actually, although I did fix up a few of the icon pages [Harry Potter and Narnia] so that hopefully you'll be able to better navigate through the many, many pages that are there [If you haven't looked, the Prince Caspian section has over four pages. Yeah.] So anyway, here you are.

Look! A new layout! Hahaha! Finally! (:
I actually like it a good deal better than I did before it was uploaded and coded and everything, although it was a bear to code. Honestly, I think it took me at least three hours. Haha. I'm not entirely satisfied with it [for some reason the full story and my affiliates application are getting stretched or something], but it'll do for a while. I tried a couple of new things with it, so please, please let me know what you think of it!
Also, I spent a good hour or two on the icon archive. It was such a mess - I don't know if any of you noticed it but a few pages had different headers and I was so sick of having to change the length of my divs because I'd add new Harry Potter icons. Seriously. So I switched it up. The whole pages thing is entirely inspired by Marcela's setup over at Ma Creations. She's brilliant, by the way. So be sure to check out her work. Mmm, that's about it. Other than the normal "new layout" updates. (:
