Happy Independence Day.
Hello! :)
If you're wondering where I've been, you shouldn't be. Because the odds of me updating within two weeks' time are very, very low. :) I've been around - working on the site a bit, but mostly just trying to get things organized onto my new computer, which is a pain and is taking a fairly long time because I'm being very organized and I'm trying very, very hard to clutter my new computer up as much as the previous one was. So, there's virtually nothing on my computer - a few video project files, some pictures - but I did finally get around to installing FTP so I could update my lovely FIGAPALOOSA. :) There isn't much - icons, and that's about it :) - but I'm feeling a new layout sometime soon. In the meantime, I've been actually working on videos (I know! This new computer has done wonders for my vidding life!) and writing a bit, which is very exciting for me. :)
I don't really have much else to say. My summer's been fairly ordinary so far - movies, fairs, plays :) - but not much else as of yet. Anyhow, I hope you all have a lovely Fourth! (If you're American, if not, well, I hope you have a nice Sunday! The weather's absolutely beautiful here - if a bit hot.)

UPDATES;
I added 1 new award. (I won 3rd Place in one of narniastills' more recent icontests. I really wasn't expecting to get anything, so that was a nice surprise. :)).
I added 1 new Icontest Entry to the archive.
I added 5 new Selena Gomez icons to the archive.
I added 4 new Voyage of the Dawn Treader icons to the archive.

(:
Oh, also tomorrow marks the One Year Anniversary of FIGAPALOOSA's lovely hostage with scarlettmoon.org! I can't believe it's been a year already! Thanks so much for everything, Nicci! :)

The Melody I Chase After.
So I was going to put this off until tomorrow - I've had a headache for much of the evening and I just generally haven't been feeling well for the past hour or two - but then I found something that just had to be written about. :)
So I've been milling about on fanfiction.net lately, mostly out of boredom and my newly rekindled love for Narnia (my high school concert band performed selections from it for their spring concert and it's just gone off from there :)) and I was just filtering through stories, attempting to find something I hadn't actually read before (it's filled with a whole lot of garbage or things I've already read at the moment) and I happened upon this story. I read through it, you know, and I really enjoyed it - I love the different path they take with Peter - that he really doesn't care for Narnia all that much, at least not at first. :) But then I noticed a little - okay, it was bolded and I'm blind - notice at the very top. A little notice that mentions being inspired by a certain video of mine. And I about died. I can't even explain what this means to me. It's just, amazing. I of course reviewed and thanked this person for how very happy they made me, and I really hope it went through - it hasn't shown up yet. Because, really, it made my day, my life. This is going to sound completely corny, but these are the things I vid for in the first place. :) I am so unbelieveably happy right now. :)
It is also ironic that it be inspired by Come Home, considering that video was largely inspired by fanfiction. :) And I know I've linked to it already, but if you have the time, I suggest you read and review Whatever It Takes by mokaster. :)
And on this ever so happy note, I do have updates for you all too! :)
UPDATES;
I added a new icon tutorial, which you can view here.
I added 3 new Anna Popplewell icons to the archive.
I added 9 new Georgie Henley icons to the archive.
I added 2 new Voyage of the Dawn Treader icons to the archive.

(:
{I've also updated both my personal and icon journals within the past week.}

Step Into the Future.
Hi!
I know, I know. This update is so long overdue. :)
My excuse? School. Being a senior. Life. Haha. :) Honestly though, that is my excuse. Life just swallowed me whole. I don't think I've had a free moment since Christmas break. I'm not even sure how I managed to crank out a new layout - and code it - within that time. It was crazy. But, if you're wondering, the last semester of my senior year was one of the best I've ever had. It was absolutely amazing! :) Our school put on Thoroughly Modern Millie which was quite possibly the most stressful, busy, and completely amazing period of the entire semester. Our choir also took an amazing trip to New York City. We saw Wicked - which is an incredible piece of musical theatre! If you haven't seen it, I insist you do. It's just fantastic. I loved it. :) Those were perhaps the biggest - most time consuming - items this semester, but there were also papers and projects to be done and quizzes and tests to study for - which took up a good deal of my computer time.
Anyhow, I'm an official graduate now. :) I graduated yesterday morning which was a completely surreal moment. There was a particular moment in which my cousin [who is one year my junior] turned to one of our mutual friends and said "This will be us next year. Do you realize that?" It's all very mind-blowing. But I'm very happy. Our ceremony was..quite interesting and typical for our class [we definitely had an I Love You, Beth Cooper moment]. I'll miss them all but I am so very excited to be embarking on a new adventure in my life and for summer to begin [finally!]. :)
Anyhow, I plan on [hopefully] getting around to caring for my much neglected poor FIGAPALOOSA this summer when I get time [the entire remaining weekends of June are packed with grad parties]. :) Please don't hate me too much if I don't update - or update sporadically. I'm trying. :)
Enjoy the new layout. It's one of my personal favorites. I love the colors! :)
UPDATES;
I added the previous layout to past.
I updated my credits to include the current layout credits.
I updated my biography - finally!
I updated the fictions section with a few pieces that may show up soon. :)
Oh yeah, and Congrats to any of my fellow members of the Class of 2010!
