This is a rant. Just saying. :)
So the other day my friends and I found out - from another friend - that our [high school] choir is not doing Joy to the World for our annual Christmas concert. This wouldn't really be a big deal, if our choir hadn't been singing it for the past 40 or so years, regardless of director or members of the choir. It has always been our closing song. Always. For 40 years. So, obviously, this made us very angry - especially considering that we're seniors this year and it will be our last chance to sing it with our choir. And we had the thought that perhaps we ought to talk to our director and find out {1} if said song is being omitted and {2} if we can possibly get it put back into the program. But we hadn't done anything until today when another of my friends whom we'd told decided that we ought to do just that - talk to our choir director. So this friend of mine did. She went up to our choir director and very politely and respectfully asked why we weren't doing Joy to the World. Our director snapped back that she'd "done it for five years" [this is her sixth year teaching there] and that she was "tired of it." My friend countered with the fact that the seniors were upset by it and really wanted to sing it. Our director then replied with "No you're not." [dramatic pause] ...Yeah. So we're all very angry over it and we are currently making plans to gather all of the seniors in the choir [there's about 21 of us] together and talking to her straight on, and if that doesn't work possibly organizing a petition. We're not sure yet. But it's all very irritating.
I'm done now. If you read through all of that, bravo. :)

Oh, and I have no school tomorrow so I may work on the site a bit. We'll see. :)

Alright, here's that new layout I promised you. :) I hope you like it. I'm rather fond of it. The coding isn't as nice as I'd like it to be, but it'll do for now. There's just one little problem with the link colors that I have to fix, but I've been working on this so long I'm just leaving it alone for now. :) Oh, and just as a sidenote; I used this site to Image Map this layout. Ah, I was so excited to find it. It makes me so happy. :)
Enjoy the new layout. I don't know that we'll have a new one for a while.

Hi. I'm not really in the mood to blog - and I don't have much to say anyhow - so I'll be keeping this short and to the point. :] I've been putsying around the site this weekend - looking at a few things, thinking of things to add, things to fix, etc. I didn't get much done but I did think of putting Fig Presents up again, if anyone's interested in seeing it up. The pages are all good to go - I think, for the most part - they just need updated so I may put it up again over Thanksgiving or this weekend sometime. We'll see how lazy I am. I'm still working on getting a new layout together - it's not really working out. If anyone has any suggestions for what to do, let me know. I've also got a few Sony Vegas tutorials in the works too but that's about it for now. If anyone would like to see something in particular up, let me know. I'd be glad for the suggestion and would definitely take it into consideration. :]
